- Assisting with the construction of forecast financial statements where appropriate;
- Identifying the degree of leverage that can be applied to the opportunity;
- Bringing in additional sources of equity to fund the deal;
- Matching the expectations of the vendor and the purchaser;
- Setting up shareholder and governance arrangements with the purchaser in the event a consortium bid is involved;
- Project managing the transaction; and
- Assisting with the budgeting and planning process going forward (if necessary).
