Simon Ward is the Managing Director of Tauro Capital. Simon holds bachelor degrees from the University of Melbourne in Commerce and Arts and a Masters of Applied Finance from FINSIA, where he is also a Fellow and regular guest presenter.

Chris Pattenden is an Associate with the firm and an analyst. Chris has worked on numerous transactions and has recently completed his Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance at Kaplan (formally FINSIA). Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts from Victoria University.

Sydney

Suren (Tau) Kumar is an Executive Director of Tauro Capital. He has over 17 years of professional experience in a range of corporate finance, project finance, capital markets, corporate banking and corporate governance areas. He has worked for Big 4 chartered firms (KPMG, Deloitte, Arthur Andersen) in their corporate finance practices, large financial services enterprises including NAB, Westpac, Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance; and semi government bodies. His competencies include: capital raising, securities markets, strategy formulation and implementation, financial market product development, business development as well as regulation and compliance within financial services and securities industries.

Specifically, his experiences include share and business valuations, independent expert reports, capital raising (debt and equity both on-market and off-market), private equity, mergers & acquisitions, due diligence reviews, financial model development and reviews, transaction structuring, investment evaluations and appraisals, offer document preparation & reviews, wealth management product development and capital market development (market microstructure and macrostructure) via policy, trading rules, regulation and legislation reviews and amendment.

Tim White is an Associate Director of Tauro Capital. Tim has over 8 years of professional investment banking experience with Macquarie Bank. Tim completed projects in capital raising, corporate finance, project finance, debt and hybrid capital markets, listed and unlisted M&A, financial and management reporting and corporate governance. Tim also has extensive experience is large and complex corporate reorganizations. Industries that he has experience in includes retail sales, gaming and entertainment, infrastructure and regulated utilities. Tim holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons).
